If you’re an active Facebook user, chances are you are already familiar with some of the features, but if you don’t spend much time on Facebook, then there is a high possibility that you might miss some of the Facebook recent updates and you might not know you could do some of these.
In case you’re heading on a short trip and don’t have the time to manage your fan page, this is for you! Last week, Facebook added a neat feature which allows you to schedule an update on your Facebook page directly from Facebook.com itself. When you set a date in the future, the normal “post” button will change into “schedule”. if you set a date in the past, the post will be posted based on the date you’ve inserted.
2. Have fans wall post appear on timeline.
If you have positive or great testimonials from fans, why not have it appear on your wall? This will help you to gain trust from potential customers who have not purchase from you yet. Not many people know this but when you click the “x” on your fans post, you’ll have an option to have it appear on your timeline, just click “allowed on page” and it will appear on your Facebook timeline.
3. Tag your friends on status on a mobile browser
This is another neat feature, I just found out that you can actually tag your friends through your mobile web browser. All you need to do is type your message like usual and the names of your friends will pop up automatically.
I’ve tested it on safari on my iphone and I heard it worked on other browser too. It still doesn’t work on my Facebook app on iphone though.Hat tip to Mari Smith who shared this.
